CLEANING SOLUTIONS
Looking for a pressure washer that can manage the tasks you require it to complete without breaking the bank on the power you might not use? You can use our Pressure Washer Buyer’s Guide to choose the precise model that best meets your requirements. Choose the best industrial, heavy, or medium-duty pressure washer to handle any job, from cleaning windows to removing paint.
Home Use
Pressure washers provide the benefit of cleaning more thoroughly with less work and in a shorter amount of time than traditional cleaning methods. You can power clean vehicles, boats, lawnmowers, ATVs, and even cut back vegetation growing alongside driveways and walkways if you have the right combination of PSI (pounds per square inch), GPM (gallons per minute), nozzles, attachments, and chemical cleaners. You can also wash siding and windows, clean walkways, driveways, and patios, bring wooden decks and fences back to life, and bring wood decks back to life.
It might be easier to walk into a Big Box store and pick up a very cheap version. However, we have a lot of those machines brought to our service center after minimum usage.
Pressure Zone carries commercial-grade machines for personal and home use with price-points that much more cost-effective in the long run.
Professional Use
The pressure (in pounds per square inch), aka PSI, water flow (in gallons per minute), aka GPM, and horse power, aka HP, of pressure washers designed for commercial use will be higher. Plus, you receive additional features designed for increased performance, which is important for heavy-duty cleaning in a shop, on a construction site, or on a road crew.
These characteristics are included in this product. Depending on the model, some of these features may include a pump that lasts longer and has an adjustable pressure, an engine that starts more easily, a larger tank, wheel hose reels, the capacity to produce hot water, a longer hose, and industrial-grade guns and wands. The requirements of commercial users are well understood by Pressure Zone, who’s be serving local professionals for over 30 years.
This is why you’ll find a very specifiic inventory of commercial and industrial-grade pressure washers at our showroom at 800 Central Ave. Jefferson, LA.
These washers can be powered by gas, electricity, LPG/NG, and can be designed to clean with cold or hot water.
Horsepower (HP)
A higher horsepower engine is needed for higher PSI and higher GPM. The combination of PSI and GPM is what does the cleaning.
Pounds Per Square Inch (PSI)
A pressure washer’s PSI rating is the maximum amount of force (pressure) discharged by the pressure washer. The higher the PSI, the more cleaning power available and the more things you will be able to clean. See chart below.
Gas-Powered vs. Electric
The portability required for outside operations is provided by gas-powered pressure washers, which also offer larger pressures and flows for more industrial uses. Gas pressure washers, however, can only be used outside due to the engines’ production of carbon monoxide.
When operating near water, electric pressure washers must include safety features including double insulation and a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Electric pressure washers can be used indoors or outdoors and are quieter than gas-powered washers, although having a limited total power.
Hot or Cold Water Cleaning
Pressure washers that use hot water clean more thoroughly and more quickly than those that use cold water. They are perfect for industrial and agricultural use because they require less soap to sterilize and degrease.
Cold water pressure washers are simpler and more portable since they are smaller and more compact.
