Is my pressure washer hose worth repairing?

Generally, yes…most wire-braided, high pressure hoses can be repaired for a lot less than the cost of a new hose. However, it is usually not repairable for the following reasons:

1. If it is a nylon braid (generally only 25 ft. long) hose.

2. If the wire-braided hose has a lot of rust, exposed wire braiding, multiple kinks, and/or overall condition of hose is worn and tattered.

Your money would be better spent purchasing a new hose, keeping safety in mind.

If you are still unsure and would like our opinion as to whether your pressure hose is worth repairing, bring it by our Metairie Service Center at your earliest convenience from M – F (8:00 am to 5 pm); and we’ll be more than happy to repair it if possible!!

Generalmente, si….la mayoría de las mangueras de alta presión de alambre trenzado pueden ser reparadas por un valor mucho menor que el costo de una manguera nueva. Sin embargo, son usualmente no reparables debido a las siguientes razones:

1. Si es una manguera tejida de nylon (generalmente sólo de 25 pies de longitud).

2. Si la manguera de alambre trenzado está muy corroída, con el trenzado de alambre expuesto, con múltiples retorcimientos, y/o la condición general de la manguera presenta desgaste y andrajos.

Su dinero estará mejor invertido comprando una manguera nueva, teniendo la seguridad en mente.

Si Ud. aún no está seguro y le gustaría tener nuestra opinión de si su manguera de presión es válido repararla, llévela a nuestro Centro de Servicio de Metairie a su mejor conveniencia, de Lunes a Viernes (8:00 AM a 5:00 PM) y estaremos más que felices de repararla si es posible!!
